Honey Wheat Yeast Bread
Ingredients
2.5 C Hot tap water
4 C Prairie Gold Wheat Flour (I grind mine) Step one
.25 C Oil
.50 C Honey
2 T Yeast
2 T dried Milk (optional)
1 C Prairie Gold Wheat Flour Step two
1 T Salt
Directions
Pour hot water in mixer with dough hook (115 degrees). Add Step one flour, then the oil, honey, milk and yeast. Mix well. Add salt. Add the Step two amount of flour gradually, as the mixer rotates. When the dough pulls away from the sides, it has the correct amount of flour. Mix or kneed for 8 minutes. Put dough into greased pans. Let raise to double. Cook at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes, or when the center of the loaf is at 200 degrees. Cool on racks. Don't store in plastic bag until fully cooled.
