Wheat Montana 7-Grain Cookies

We decided to take the 7-Grain cookies recipe on the back of the Wheat Montana cereal and add a special twist to it.  The original recipe made around six-dozen cookies.  We cut this recipe down to about 1/3 of the size and found this makes the perfect quick treat for a family of about 4.  Start the oven and preheat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.


1 Egg

1/3-tsp vanilla extract

1/3-cup butter

1/3-cup brown sugar

1/3-cup white sugar

1-cup Wheat Montana Natural White Flour

1/3-tsp salt

1/3-tsp ground cinnamon

2/3-tsp baking soda

2/3-cup Wheat Montana 7-Grain Cereal with Flax Seed



Pro Tip: To make this recipe: quickly combine all ingredients in a bowl, roll up your sleeves and mix them all together with your hands until it looks like the picture below.



Place dough in heaping tablespoons on your ungreased baking sheet and then put the sheet into your preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes or until they turn golden brown.



Pull from the oven and place onto a cooling rack.
